You need to use SubVersioN. Through this software, you will be ready to get any version of MARS and use updating facilities (gmake update command

Four requirements

1. you need to install SubVerioN. Ask your IT engineer : this software is probably already installed, it is so usefull for many projects...
2. you need an extranet account (like vg032r8). Ask Valerie Garnier or Sebastien Theetten to get yours.
3. subscribe to the mars3d project https://forge.ifremer.fr/projects/mars3d/
4. follow the description on the website ("Acces au code MARS"). You can also have a look at exercises 2.1 and 2.2 ("Tutorial")
